Have you taken part in our recent Your Business Expo events? We hope you enjoyed them as much as we do. Now we’ve created a new app to help make the whole experience much smarter. It will help all our visitors and exhibitors get more involved and engaged.
All you have to do is register for a Your Business Expo event as an exhibitor or visitor. Then you’ll benefit from everything the app has to offer. It brings together a great range of content. There are links to websites and social media, marketing material and descriptions of products and services.
Why build an app?
Pulse Group Media, publishers of Business MK and Business Times are the organisers of Your Business Expo events. There’s so much excitement in the build-up to each event and there’s great feedback afterwards. We wondered what else we could do to help everyone enjoy these experiences even more. We thought an app was the ideal way to add extra value to our events.
It includes great real-time communication tools such as live chat, vCard scanning and video conferencing. It can provide tailored suggestions to connect you with exhibitors matching your interests.
Visitors and exhibitors can quickly and easily set up a brief chat or a longer call or meeting with anyone at the event. It’s amazing how quickly time flies during the day. If you can’t connect everyone you want to, you can easily arrange a one-to-one meeting later.
There’s even an interactive floor map of the exhibition layout so you can quickly find your way around. As an exhibitor it’s the ideal way to guide people straight to your stand.
Exhibitors can also collect attendees’ details to simplify their post-Expo follow-ups. Best of all, the app encourages networking by providing the perfect platform for meetups and conversations.
What’s next?
The Northamptonshire event at Sywell Aerodrome on 7 February was our most popular yet. Hot on it’s heels, we’re busy planning the next event on 5 June at The Ridgeway Centre in Milton Keynes. Still under wraps for now, we’re also finalising the details of an event in Bedford later in the year. You’ll get full details of the app when you register, so you can try it for yourself.
There’s also the perfect networking opportunity at the Your Business Networking breakfast before the exhibition opens in Milton Keynes. Enjoy a hot drink, breakfast roll and meaningful conversations. You can meet potential customers and start to build relationships to follow up later in the day or after the event. As an exhibitor, you can meet new people to invite to your stand. Breakfast networking is always popular, so book your tickets soon.
